Pebble is designed to help you build better habits through screen time management and physical activity motivation. To function as intended, the App requires access to certain device features:
Screen Time Data
Pebble uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity) to set application limits and monitor usage strictly for the sake of enforcing your focus sessions. We do NOT collect, transmit, or store your screen time data on external servers. All processing happens securely and locally on your device as mandated by Apple's privacy guidelines.
Health Data (HealthKit)
Pebble uses Apple's Health app (HealthKit) to read your step count in order to unlock "Deep Focus" mode. Your health data remains strictly on your device. We do not transmit, sell, or share your HealthKit data with third parties, nor do we use it for advertising or marketing purposes.
Purchases & Subscriptions
Payments, coupon redemptions, and subscriptions are processed securely by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not collect or have access to your raw payment information or credit card numbers.
3. Third-Party Services
The App processes payments and subscription statuses using RevenueCat. RevenueCat may collect anonymous identifiers to synchronize your subscription status across devices. Please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for more details.
4. Analytics and Crash Reporting
We do not use invasive third-party tracking frameworks. We may receive anonymized crash reports and app metrics provided implicitly by Apple's built-in App Store analytics (if you have opted-in via your device settings). This data does not personally identify you and is only used to improve the App's stability.
5. Data Security
Because all core feature data (Screen Time and HealthKit) remains locally on your device, it benefits from Apple's robust hardware-level encryption and security.
6. Children's Privacy
Pebble does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Given the local nature of the app, data never leaves the device regardless of the user's age.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
